Jean-Christophe joined the agency in 2002. Deeply attached to Gordes, the Monts de Vaucluse and the Luberon where he grew up, he very early on dreamed of becoming an architect, following in the footsteps of his grandfather. As a teenager, he envisioned himself as a Formula 1 driver, a world just as demanding and elite. After several years of motocross and enduro, followed by a few karting competitions, he achieved the remarkable feat of finishing second in the Volant Elf competition in 1992 at the Paul Ricard circuit. The Gulf War crisis brought this adventure to an end, despite the support of his mentor Jean Alesi and later Ayrton Senna. He then pursued his studies and graduated from a business school in Aix-en-Provence, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management and International Trade from Bournemouth University in Great Britain.
With his degrees in hand, he completed his training before beginning his professional career in ready-to-wear fashion in Los Angeles, and later in New York in the highly exclusive diamond trade. During this time, he also obtained a real estate diploma from New York University. His sporting and international experiences made him bilingual, attentive, persistent, and particularly demanding of both himself and others.
In 2001, after witnessing the events of the World Trade Center from the streets of Manhattan, he decided to return to Gordes, where real estate transactions had become second nature to him. Passionate about architecture, construction and interior design, he has been managing Agence ROSIER since 2008, using his expertise to provide owners and buyers with the highest level of service.
He has been behind some of the finest property sales in the region, including exceptional country estates, castles, prestigious village homes, as well as hotels, restaurants and spas, notably the Airelles Group’s La Bastide de Gordes, which became the first Palace between Courchevel and Cannes.
Jean-Christophe’s philosophy is based on a simple conviction: here, wealth is not measured as it is elsewhere. It lies in our Provençal heritage, in the Luberon, the Alpilles and Mont Ventoux ranges that protect these hills crowned with authentic villages and hamlets, in the vineyards, orchards, cedar forests and truffle oak groves, in the quality of sun-ripened fruits, olive oils, wines, fragrant herbs and in the remarkable richness and diversity of flora revealed along hundreds of kilometres of paths and trails offering breathtaking views.
Supporting his clients in their life project around a home therefore begins with sharing this Provençal art of living, which can be found in the LIFESTYLE magazine he created and has published every year since 2008.
