Museum of Prehistory in the french Alpes-de-Haute-Provence

In the Regional Natural Park of Verdon, in the village of Quinson, discover the Museum of Prehistory, telling the human presence in the region for 1 million years.

After 50 years of archaeological excavations, the museum traces the daily life of men of the time through everyday objects and interactive animations.

The museum building was designed by architect Normal Foster on an area of ​​over 4,000 m².

At 500 m from the museum, a prehistoric village has been restored and the Cave of the Good Baume, a historical monument, was inhabited by man for centuries.
