A few minutes walk from the village of Venasque, in the heart of a green haven of peace, an elegant architect-designed house with a floor space of 145 m², nestled on a landscaped plot of 3310 m².

The architectural firm Drescher-Kraemer has created this contemporary wood-frame house, in total harmony with the dry landscaped garden created by the landscape designer Vincent Grunwald.

The construction is developed on two levels. On the ground floor, a long corridor allows access to the entrance door, protected by the overhang of the corridor on the second level.
The living room that welcomes you is bright, composed of a kitchen open to a dining area and a living room facing west, extended by a covered wooden terrace facing the unobstructed view and the fabulous light of the sunsets. The terrace can be closed via two large pivoting wooden shutters/blinds. Glass bays extend along the living area to enjoy the dry garden and the 15 x 3m swimming corridor. In the continuity, there is a storeroom and a bedroom I facing the dry garden.

The second level is accessible via an oak staircase, a corridor lit by panoramic windows offers a view of the trees, it serves a bedroom II, a closet, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and Italian shower, a master bedroom III and its large terrace with a panoramic view of the valley, from Carpentras to the Cevennes.

A garage completes the set, it communicates with the corridor of the first floor and can be arranged in room with an additional bathroom.

Outside, on the pool side, an open building hosts a summer lounge and can be fitted with a summer kitchen to become a real pool house. It is connected to the house by a wall that protects it from the Mistral.
The garden has been planted with many large trees such as fruit trees, oaks, olive trees, cypresses, bamboos and two beautiful cherry trees already present on the land; we can thus enjoy a grassy area already well shaded by the plantations. At the entrance is a borie in perfect condition and allows the storage of garden tools.
To the west, below the house, a part of the land has not been developed, it is however planted with a hedge of cypress and other large subjects, the space is buildable, it can accommodate a studio with terrace to become a seasonal rental, a house to receive family or friends.
