Elegant provençal château with outbuildings, guest house and water mill on nearly 20 hectares on the banks of the Sorgue river, between Avignon and the Luberon.

Built in 1870 with the inspiration of a Parisian mansion, the château is the main building. With a usable surface area of more than 400 m², it comprises 3 levels served by a central staircase.

On the ground floor, a large entrance hall with a staircase opens on the right into the lounge with a fireplace, and on the left into the dining room with a fireplace and the open kitchen with its large Provencal fireplace.
At the back, passing under the staircase, a laundry/boiler room, then on a half level a cloakroom and a guest toilet.

1st floor: the landing leads to a very beautiful bedroom I, a bathroom with toilet and a large dressing room.
On the south side, a small bedroom II, and on the other side a large bedroom III, its bathroom with toilet, and a study.

2nd floor: the large landing used as a library distributes on the right a bedroom IV, its bathroom, separate toilet and dressing room, then on the left a very large music and reading room. On the side, a balcony offers unobstructed views of the countryside, the Vaucluse mountains, the Luberon and the mont Ventoux.

The stone outbuildings are adjacent to the Château on the west side. L-shaped on 2 levels, they include a building to be renovated of approx. 300 m² with a new roof, then a canopy with arches of more than 100 m², and a barn on the first floor of more than 100 m² as well.

An archway closes off the courtyard of the castle, which creates a small, cosy garden with cypress, magnolia, yew and lime trees, lawns, gazebos and covered paths.

In the courtyard on the east side of the castle is a small, two-storey, 85 m² usable guest house. It comprises a lounge, a dining room, a kitchen and a toilet on the ground floor, then 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet on the first floor.

To the south, a 6 x 3 metre semi above-ground pool serves as a swimming pool.

A hundred metres to the south, on the banks of the Sorgue river which rises in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, a building on 2 levels of more than 100 m² each, is an old water mill with its paddle wheel and the remains of its mechanism.

A stone bridge allows you to drive across to the other side of the river, and to approach 3 small islands located in the property.

The plot of nearly 20 hectares is flat and alternates between large trees and meadows. The presence of a lot of water makes it very green in all seasons.

It is a very easily accessible, quiet place, ideal for a large family, an agricultural project, horses, or even, depending on the project and the administrative authorisations, seminars or weddings.
